15-17 March 2021 (online)
The ongoing epidemiologic situation with Covid-19 continues to challenge each and one of us in our everyday life as well as in our work. Now more than ever we see the need for scientific exchange, which is why we do not wish to postpone our exciting and important meeting again. To allow all of us certainty in planning (in the light of possibly new travel restrictions, venue hygiene requirements, rules for social distancing, etc.), the DGP board and the organisers have decided to hold the DGP 2021 digitally.
The date is as communicated before, i.e. 15-17 March 2021. The programme structure will be slightly adapted to fit the digital format. In particular, we will reserve sufficient time for poster sessions, where poster presenters will have the opportunity to hold short pitches followed by questions from the auditory. Posters will be on display throughout the meeting so that interested colleagues may visit them digitally before the sessions and prepare their questions.
To guarantee the success of the virtual DGP congress, we kindly ask you to submit your latest scientific findings. Therefore, we have extended the abstract deadline until 30 November 2020. One lesson from the Covid-19 pandemic is that the topic of “One Health” should receive more attention. Therefore, we have added One Health as an extra abstract topic, along with the extra topic “clinical veterinary parasitology” to strengthen the veterinarian aspect of our meeting.
Find all the main topics online and submit your abstract here:
You will receive detailed information about all further steps towards the digital congress in the coming weeks via our event homepage.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our organising agency Conventus (Robert Deubler | phone: +49 3641 31 16-322 | e-mail: email@example.com).
We are looking forward to numerous submissions as well as your participation at reduced rate in this very special congress format! We encourage you to disseminate this call for abstracts also to your collaborators from foreign/endemic countries (special rates apply).
With best regards
Prof. Dr. Achim Hörauf & Team
